Welcome!

Join us this summer for the Rose City Workshop, hosted by Davis Hilton and Paarsa Hajari at MODE Studio PDX. 

Participants will learn how to work with a team of creatives (including a hair + makeup artist, clothing stylist, and signed model) and shoot a fashion editorial with a Portland clothing label. 

During the workshop, you will be guided through the process of contacting models and brands to work with, designing an editorial set, and working effectively with a creative team. You will be walked through the process of posing and shooting with a model and then learn about post processing, delivery of content, and social media production and growth. 

We're extremely excited to help you learn and hone your skills as a photographer, and can't wait to see what you create!

Meet the hosts

Hello! My name is Paarsa Hajari.

I'm a twenty year-old photographer and student, currently attending art school in Los Angeles, California.

I've been taking photos for over six years now, and each year I fall more in love with the craft. My work primarily focuses on portraiture and nature, and how both the subject and their environment can create a beautiful harmony.

I'm Davis!

I'm 23 years old and I live in Portland, Oregon. If you see me out and about, there's a good chance you'll catch me with either dog or camera in hand. 

I do portrait photography for a living, and most enjoy weddings and editorial portraiture. My favorite part of photography is meeting new people and documenting so many different moments and adventures.
